Minions Version 3.1 Released!

Minions Version 3.1 Released!

Announcements
Sorry again for yet another early patch to a full release.... my bad.... Version 3.1 fixes the "errors" that appears in the error console (for those playing in the developmental mode), making the game more smooth. In addition, because of the set limitation by the original game that no animals will do tasks/jobs more than once an hour - making the minions rather.... lazy or undependable - despite it was already a huge improvement in Ver3.0 to Ver2.0 - I had made it even better now in Version 3.1. I literally created a new counting function in the codes specially just for the minions - thus adjusting the limiter - and thus now, the Minions are much much better at sweeping and doing all the other chores they can do.…

Minions Ver2.1 Download

Announcements
During play testing, I realised that the Evil Minions manhunting events are overpowered, so I tone them down a little; as well as reducing the frequency of Minions/Evil Minions manhunting events. These balancing will improve the game experience. Sorry for launching 2.1 so soon after 2.0; the balancing issue is important; hopefully your colony survive long enough for this update. Changelog: - Reduced manhunting frequency for Minions and Evil Minions - Reduce baseHealthScale for Evil Minion - Increase CombatPower for Evil Minion (which means lesser of them during manhunting events) Download Here: http://dinorim.mingjilim.com/sdm_downloads/rimworld-minions-ver-2-1/

Minions Ver2.0 Released!

Announcements
I am proud to announce the release of Minions Version 2.0 for RimWorld! Yay~! The Minions will be a lot more useful to the colony from now on: On top of the hauling ability, they can clean/sweep the floor (require Obedience), and can help out with some of the simple chores like chopping trees, harvesting plants and even mining! (The latter 3 require to be trained for Hauling). The Minions will also no longer appear in the map like wild animals (since they aren't wild animals!!!), they will appear as tribes wandering across the world looking for a new master. So to get the Minions, you can either start the game with them, or you can tame them when they do appear on the map when they travel across your…

Development Update 25/2/2017

Development Update 25/2/2017

Announcements
Just a quick update for DinoRim's development. DINORIM UPDATE We are currently working on a master stats sheet for all the dinosaurs that will be included in the mod. The reason for doing this step is to make sure that we can have a overall picture of all the dinosaurs, as well as to ensure balance within the game. Comparing dinosaurs stats side by side can easily see if the predators as powerful enough to hunt their prey as well as ensure the ecosystem we eventually create would look realistic. Currently the Master Stats is only around 33%-40% done. There are still some stats to complete for the individual species, as well as to create the Attacks that the dinosaurs may use. Development was stalled recently as I am was…

Minion Mod Bug Resolved – Ver 1.1 now available

Minion Mod Bug Resolved – Ver 1.1 now available

Announcements
When I was playing the mod after the Ver 1 release, I realised that the Minions are unable to be trained for hauling. After finding out why, then I learnt that the hack I did to reduce meat after slaughter by reducing its baseBodySize to 0.2 (like a hare) also effectively make them too small to haul anything. As a result it broke the game mechanic that I wanted. So I had fixed the bug and released Ver 1.1. Changelog: - MeatAmount set to 20 - LeatherAmount set to 5 - Minions are now Psychic and Toxic insensitive - ComfyTemperature level added (they literally will survive from -100 to +250 in temperature) - Meat Label changed You can download it here: DOWNLOAD NOW

Minions Mod for RimWorld

Minions Mod for RimWorld

Announcements
Minions are small, yellow creatures who have existed since the beginning of time, evolving from single-celled organisms into beings who exist only to serve history's most despicable masters. They are extremely loyal and dependable servants to whoever wants to be their master. They had finally appeared from their hideout in the RimWorld, to look for their next great villain to serve! DOWNLOAD HERE I just made a mini mod in 4-5 hours: added Minions as animals you can tame and build an Minion army. These Minions: - grow up from baby to adult in a year - breeds quickly - dun catch fire - require little to be fed - can punch quickly albeit not powerful - tame and trained like animals - they live in herds of 3 - 8…

Introduction to DinoRim

Introduction to DinoRim

Announcements
DinoRim was first announced at RimWorld Community facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/1404635226524821/) I had been thinking of creating a mod for RimWorld that adds Dinosaurs into the game.  I am personally a designer by trade, and was games design trained (Dip. in Digital Media Design (Games Design) from Nanyang Polytechnic Singapore). Currently, the entire mod will be produced entirely by me, one person. There is currently no plans to add any members to the development team until I felt that there is a need for it. As far as I understood, there used to be an attempt to by someone else to produce a dinosaur add-on mod for RimWorld, called Jurassic Rim. However, the mod seemed to be dead after just the release of a Triceratops. For DinoRim, it will be a…
